The Black Moor goldfish originated in China, where it is popularly known as dragon eye, owing to its characteristic protruding eyes.

In natural outdoor habitat, the Black Moor doesn’t do so great feeding because of it’s poor eye-sight. It is tough to find food when you can’t see that great.
