Reef Shark

Reef Sharks are around five to six feet in length, though sizes can vary. They are silvery gray to brownish in color, some with thick bodies. Their snouts are short and blunt, and they peer out with their beady shark eyes. Reef sharks have two dorsal fins.

Reef sharks are predators, meaning they hunt and eat other animals. Since they hang out around the coral reef, there is a delicious variety of tropical fish for them to feast on. They also munch on invertebrates such as shrimp, crab, and octopi. There are four species of reef shark, each with its own characteristics.
