The Yellow Nyassae, also known as the Benga Peacock or New Yellow Regal, is a stunning freshwater fish native to Lake Malawi in Africa. This vibrant and active species adds a splash of sunshine and personality to any aquarium.

Appearance:
- Bright yellow body with iridescent sheen
- Blue mask on the head, extending to the gill plates in males
- Elongated, flowing dorsal and anal fins
- Forked caudal fin with a yellow upper lobe and a blue lower lobe
- Small, pointed mouth
- Can grow up to 5 inches (12 cm) in length
Behavior:
- Semi-aggressive: Can be territorial towards other cichlids, especially when breeding.
- Active swimmers: Enjoy exploring all levels of the tank.
- Benthic: Spend a significant amount of time near the bottom of the tank.
